BADAREGAL, S.A., owner of the commercial brand Don Palillo, was born in Badalona (Barcelona, Spain) with the purpose of giving such a versatile product, as the chopstick was and is, the importance that nobody had given it until now. Our first range was focused on turned wooden chopsticks, a product that made an impact on the national market due to its innovative and uncommon design. But we did not stop there, as we also revolutionized the packaging of these, considering the packaging as an essential aspect of the product that not only raised the standards of hygiene, but also offered a better experience to the consumer.
The Don Palillo brand is registered, along with our iconic triangular toothpick holder, an exclusive model manufactured and packaged in our facilities in Badalona.
And without realizing it, our Mr. Don Palillo was already present in all homes and establishments, being recognized as a brand of quality, innovation and proximity.
This led to an expansion of our team and the opening of our own office in Shanghai.
Over the years, Don Palillo has become one of the leading suppliers of single-use products for the food and hospitality industry.
Since the first decade of the 21st century, we have been constantly searching for new products and materials to improve our customers' experience. This commitment has led us to expand our catalog by more than 90%, introducing a wide variety of new references, such as beverage straws, wooden cutlery, coffee stirrers and clothes pegs, among others.
With the objective of offering improvements in the skewering process for our clients in the meat industry, Seteyco Systems was launched. Since then, this new company of the group has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing automatic skewering machines.
Our family of paper straws is becoming more relevant in the market due to the new legislation implemented by the European Union with the aim of reducing the impact of single-use plastic products on the environment.
