The Villavecchia Foundation celebrates 35 years with a solidarity concert
The Children's Oncology Foundation Enriqueta Villavecchia has been committed for 35 years to the comprehensive coverage of the needs of children suffering from cancer and other serious diseases. The foundation's mission is not only focused on funding training and research in fields such as oncology or hematology, but also encompasses comprehensive support for families, understanding that their well-being is key for children to successfully face all phases of treatment.
On the occasion of its 35th anniversary, the foundation will hold a solidarity concert that will take place on November 8 at 8:00 pm at the Basilica Santa Maria del Mar, a very special event that will aim to raise funds to continue its important support programs. During the concert, the Escolania de Montserrat will offer a commemorative recital, also sharing the stage with the musical group Els Catarres.
On this occasion, we have had the honor of contributing with the donation of material for the elaboration of tissue paper flowers, a craft made by volunteers, children, families and professionals. These flowers will be given to the concert attendees as a meaningful souvenir of this special night full of magic.
